The programme of activities include more than 60 events, covering for the first time the three historic territories of the Basque Country. The initiative not be limited to a specific audience, inviting people of all ages, genders, identities, backgrounds, professions and ages to participate. In addition to public conferences and events, visits to research centres, workshops for adolescents and the «Back to School» experience be held, where more than 60 researchers shared their experiences in school classrooms to foster scientific vocation among students. This year’s edition will culminate with a festive event in Donostia on February 8th, where a video will be present highlighting the personal life of women in the scientific field.

The participating entities, representative of the scientific and technological fabric in Euskadi, seek to contribute to changing the standards of excellence in science and challenge the notion that professional dedication impedes the balance with personal life. The initiative has the support of various institutions and agencies, reflecting broad support for the promotion of women’s participation in science.
