A prototipe of CETO, the company´s core technology, will soon be deployed at the Biscay Marine Energy Platform (BiMEP), located in Armintza.
Carnegie Clean Energy is a company specialized in harnessing wave energy to generate renewable electricity. Its core technology, CETO, is designed for large-scale applications and combines artificial intelligence with advanced electrical systems to optimize its performance. In this way, it transforms the constant force of the ocean into a reliable and adaptable source of energy, suitable for both conventional power grids and isolated enviroments.
The development of CETO is the result of years of research, laboratory testing and oepn sea trials. Throughout its evolution, the company has refined the performance, durability and efficiency of this technology through various prototypes. The incorporation of machine learning and advanced electronics has made it possible to enhance its performance and reduce costs, with a view to its future commercialization.
In addition to CETO, Carnegie Clean Energy has developed MoorPower, a solution derived from the same technology aimed at generating renewable energy for moored vessels and floating platforms. Its objective is to provide a suistainable alternative to traditional diesel generators, particularly in sectors such as aquaculture and marine research.
As part of its European expansion, the company has located part of its activity in Euskadi, a region that stands out for its potential field of marine energy. According to Alexandre Pichard, the company´s Chief Technology Officer, the region offers particularly favorable conditions thanks to its consistent Atlantic waves, its industrial ecosystem and its network of technological centers.
At the moment, Carnegie Clean Energy is preparing to deploy a CETO prototype at the Biscay Marine Energy Platform (BiMEP), in Armintza. This proyect will allow the technology to be validated under real Atlantic conditions and support its advancement toward future commercial deployment.
With a team of professionals distributed between Australia and Europe, the firm continues to pursue its commitment to innovation and sustainability. Its goal is to keep developing solutions capable of transforming ocean energy into clean, consistent and suistanable source to address the energy challenges of the future.
